LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - As she spoke from the governor's mansion in Little Rock, Arkansas, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, 40, slammed Biden over his job as commander-in-chief over the last two years explaining that the President has chased after “woke fantasies” and America is “under attack in a left-wing culture war.”

In a statement made by House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, he said that “Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the youngest Governor in the nation and a powerful advocate for the popular, commonsense conservative principles that will put our country back on a better course.”

Sanders, who was just sworn in this year, is a former White House Press Secretary for President Trump and the first-ever woman governor of Arkansas. As well as being the daughter of former longtime Arkansas governor, Mike Huckabee.

Throughout Sanders's speech, she repeatedly went after President Biden, even going so far as calling his administration “completely hijacked by the radical left.” This made for completely opposing speeches by both sides of the aisle.

A consistently repeated offense towards President Biden is his age, as he has recently turned 80 years old. This has made him the oldest US president creating an intense contrast as Sanders is the youngest current American governor.

“It's time for a new generation of republican leadership,” Sanders said.

Sanders's speech comes at the beginning of a tense year filled with Republican candidates ensuring their run for the White House.

As the republican bid for 2024 continues, the lineup is growing. Former President Trump has already announced his candidacy, while former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is expected to announce her bid next week.

Alongside these candidates, former Arkansas Gov. and a vocal critic of President Trump, Asa Hutchinson, is soon considering a candidate himself.

During her speech, she acknowledged the success she made with the Trump administration while degrading Biden on his national security stance after a Chinese spy balloon drifted across the United States last week. This vocal debate comes after records show the Trump Administration went through similar problems during his time in the White House.

As Sanders continues to fight the culture war, she remains clear on her stance over the critical race theory, while also revoking all COVID-19 procedures and banning the word Latinx, a gender-neutral word, for state agencies.

The governor's speech comes one day before her plans to announce a new conservative-based education plan saying “We will educate, not indoctrinate, our kids, and put students on a path to success.”

As highlighted in her rebuttal speech, Sanders reminisces on the time she and former President Trump took a trip to the western front of Iraq saying “It was an absolutely perfect picture of what makes our country great.”

The last rebuttal to a State of the Union address was by republican Sen. Tim Scott. And the time before was by Gov. Haley. Both candidates have now shown interest in a 2024 White House Bid to go against former President Trump.
